About FRV
FRV Services New Zealand is the owner and developer of the proposed Rangitīkei Solar Farm. The company is a subsidiary of FRV Australia and forms part of Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), a leading global renewable energy developer headquartered in Madrid, Spain.

FRV is a global renewable energy and solutions provider and leading solar and battery developer. With a strong presence in Australia, FRV has a portfolio of successful solar and battery projects both operating and under development across Australia and New Zealand.
FRV started in Spain in 2006, and has since expanded to 4 continents, developing over 50 renewable energy projects with a total investment of over US $4 billion.
FRV Australia began shortly after in 2010, and delivered its first project in 2013. FRV Australia’s shareholders are ALJ and OMERS Infrastructure.
FRV Australia expanded into New Zealand in 2022 in partnership with Genesis Energy. We co-built and co-operate the Lauriston Solar Farm in Canterbury, which provides the region much needed electricity during dry summers to power its irrigation systems.
FRV Services New Zealand is now developing the Rangitīkei Solar Farm as a subsidiary of FRV Australia.
